Field Study #4

Field Study #4  Date: October 29, 2022  Time: 3:40pm Length of day: 10 hours, 52 minutes Temperature: 65 degrees Fahrenheit, 64 percent humidity  Weather: Sunny with a slight overcast    October 29, 2022 October 14, 2022  Notes  The Landscape has changes drastically since the last field study, if you look at the two pictures above, you can easily see the difference. First of all, the red bushes that were there previously are still there, however they have just lost all of their foliage. In the picture labeled October 14, the trees in the background had retained most of their leaves. The second picture shows some of the trees but they seem to lost a vast majority of their leaves. Most of the flowers that I had took pictures of in previous posts have all died off, this is the only one that still had its petals. Most of the cicadas I had heard before have quieted or have died and the creek was as still as before.

Field Study #3

Field Study #3  Date:  October   14, 2022 Time:  3:40 pm, Length of day (daylight) 11 hours 7 minutes.  Temperature:  52 degrees Fahrenheit.  Weather:  Cloudy with a slight breeze  Notes:  The temperature was not awfully chilly but because of the wind, the air felt a lot colder. Most of the flowers on my previous field study have all lost their petals, however, I managed to spot some flowers that have retained their petals. For some reason, the cicadas were even more loud than they normally are, there was always a constant droning buzz all around me. Today I did not spot much wildlife,  only a few chickadees and a rabbit.
